Braces!

They are excited, but not sure how to eat yet.  Here we go for the next three years!

Our newest purchase...

Curtis bought a warehouse this week to add to his fundraising business.  It will be a busy summer and fall!

1 inch + 2 months = happiness!

Lauren is growing!  1 inch in less than 2 months.  Pretty awesome!

I heart Sunday dinners

Our living room... so far.

Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of the living room before we started painting. I found a few random pictures that give you an idea of how it looked when we moved in. This one shows the lovely gray walls. The ceiling was also this gray color.

If you look past the ugly kitchen wallpaper and behind our strange dog you can see a little bit of the purple that took up the whole wall around the fireplace. Gray and purple... ugh.

We tested this color on the wall after it was primed to make sure we liked it.  

I liked the primer better than the purple that was there.

This is how it looks now. The color we chose for the fireplace all is called 'Peanut Butter' and the other walls are painted a cream color called 'Cancun Sand'. 

As you can see we still need accent furniture like chairs and a coffee table along with window coverings but the room feels so much better than it did when we moved in.
